We have missed everyone.

After taking a much-needed break to take care of some family stuff and a few medical issues we are back and so happy about it. We have missed you all so much and can't wait to share everything that's been happening in our world with you. Thank you all for standing by us during our break and supporting us. We are truly blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.

Make A Card Send A Card!

You ever have those projects you make and you are just totally happy about it? Well this greeting card was just that for me!

I absolutely love getting letters and cards in the mail and it just doesn’t happen enough these days when everyone is trying to go digital! But just try to remember back in the day when you would run to the mailbox to see if anyone wrote you a letter or sent you a card! It truly made your week when it finally arrived!

Now picture you making a greeting card with your own two hands and sending it to someone in the mail! Picture their surprise and excitement when they open it up and admire it and read it! Doesn’t that bring back memories and just make you feel good??? Well it sure does me! I just love creating and mailing them so I do it every Monday to a random person I know and hope and pray it makes them happy and excited as it does me!

This card is one I made and mailed out last Monday! I used Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Grapefruit Grove card stock by Stampin Up along with the Lasting Lily stamp set available while supplies last this month only during our Sale-A-Bration! I just love the way this one turned out and I hope by mailing cards out every Monday it encourages others to do the same! It’s like mailing smiles to those unexpecting people and I just love that thought! Don’t you?

Starting next month I challenge you to make a card and mail a card once a week! I pick Mondays for me but any day of the week will work for you. Just do it and see how you begin to brighten the world one card, one person at a time! Hope you have a great week until next time! Go get crafty!

This is awesome! woot woot

Today as I was working on a couple of different projects for some upcoming classes and I just got so excited wondering how each person attending might possibly make each project their own. What kind of twists they might add to make it a signature piece for their home. I think it that’s one thing I absolutely love about these workshops and classes! You know seeing others create while making connections with others and of course seeing each project after it’s completely finished! It’s kind of like Christmas to me only each persons project is the real surprise and their happiness and since of accomplishment on their faces is the gift! It is just so exciting! I can’t wait for our next class. I hope you all can come. Remember if classes fill up you can always contact us to schedule one for you and your friends at a later date. Well I am off to get ready for another class. I hope to see you all soon! Go get crafty now…that’s an order!

Spring Time Is Here!

I did it for the bunny!

Are you excited for Spring to finally be here? I know most people just love spring time but if I were to be honest it's not my favorite...I'm pretty partial to winter more than any other season! But I must admit that I do love the cute spring time decorations and the smell of my garden blooming outside! This week I've been working on some spring time bunnies to put in my yard and around my house. I decided to be different with my spring rabbits and make them a little more like a Shabby Bunny with a cute bow and some pearls! (I just love pearls and I love being different!) I also painted this little cutie in the picture using a great dry brush technique using some materials I just had laying around my place at the time. (I basically just grabbed a few things from the craft room and ran with it!) I am all about winging it when I am working on my personal projects and I must admit that I really love the way my little bunny turned out!
